Our History
Family values are at the heart of our business & are as strong today as when our founders established Dickson-Gray Electrical in 1971.
We started as a partnership to provide quality electrical services to those who needed a team they could trust, and a team they could rely on to get a job done however needed.
Dickson-Gray Electrical (DGE) is one of Auckland’s most highly regarded electrical engineering firms. Our emphasis on clear communication and our experienced staff mean we deliver just what you want and need. Here’s how:

Software & Reporting
Up to date construction-specific accounting software with online time reporting, which enables us to track our projects in real-time (we can monitor our projects on a weekly basis to stay on track and on budget).
Cost & Management
We manage our jobs and prevent cost overruns.
Expertise
All of our team is industry trained (internally trained, up-skilled and promoted) with real industry experience. The experience in our team means we’re not under-quoting and over-charging like other competitors.

Our team has many connections throughout a wider community. We have huge respect and gratitude for the communities that we live and work in, so giving a little hand-up to give back is pretty simple really.
We’re helping to develop future generations through Life Education Trust NZ, supporting Waikato Women's Refuge and even getting stuck in with some grassroots rugby.
